HOPE FOR BELFAST's HOMELESS

It was over 20 years ago when Stuart Croxford Neale - ex founder member of 80’s pop band Kajagoogoo - moved across to Belfast; now, Stuart has produced a new documentary depicting the real life struggles of the homeless in Belfast.

Put together over a several months of filming, the launch of the documentary was premiered at the  Belfast’s Odeon cinema.

This documentary is the tip of huge iceberg where Belfast’s housing and planning infrastructure is buckling under extreme pressure, in which systemic change is needed.

The documentary is packed to the brim of ‘on street’ interviews, together with several ‘high-profile’ stakeholders in both government and the charitable sector, all who have devoted their lives to support the homeless of Belfast.

In Stuart’s own words: ‘it is our hope and strong belief that this documentary will motivate the people to actively help even if it challenges the way we sometimes relate to our homeless communities, by treating them as fellow human beings.’

It is our desire and hope that the documentary will be broadcast nationally, and will galvanise the hearts of the population here in Northern Ireland into action for change.
